 Staff of PS Hazrat Nizamuddin of South East District Delhi has arrested three desperate burglars namely (1) Mohd. Khush Ahmad @ Chand S/o Mohd. Mujimal Rahman R/o Vagabond Basti H N Din Delhi, Age- 23 years (2) Fakhru @ Arif S/o Mohd. Anwar R/o Nizam Nagar, Basti Nizamuddin Delhi, Age-34 years and (3) Sawan S/o Shariff R/o Vagabond, Footpath under Lodhi Colony Flyover Delhi, Age- 22 years. With their arrest, two country made pistol along with live cartridge, one buttondaar knife, stolen case property and house breaking equipments recovered.

 

 INCIDENT

      On 07/06/2020, complainant Mr. Moin R/o Basti Hazrat Nizanuddin Delhi reported at PS H N Din that during the intervening night of 06-07/06/2020, some one has stolen jewelery, cash, mobile phones and other items after broken the lock of his house. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 122/20 dated 07/06/2020 u/s 457/380 IPC was registered at PS H N Din Delhi.                                   

TEAM & OPERATION:

                                Sensing the gravity of offence, a dedicated team led by Insp. Mukesh Walia, SHO/Hazrat Nizamuddin comprising of SI Arun Kumar, ASI Rakesh Kumar, HC Hafijullah, HC Satendra and HC Subodh and under the supervision of Shri Ram Sunder ACP/ Operations was constituted and deployed in the area. During the intervening night of 18-19/06/2020, team was patrolling in the area. At about 11.30 PM, staff reached K- Block near Nala, Jungpura and found a suspect person. He was asked to stop but he did not stop and tried to run away. He was overpowered after a chase. On his cursory search, one country made pistol along with one live cartridge, one mobile phone and Sim card was recovered from his possession. On enquiry, he was identified as Mohd. Khush Ahmad @ Chand S/o Mohd. Mujimal Rahman R/o Vagabond Basti HN Din Delhi, Age- 23 years  Accordingly a case FIR No.138/20 u/s 25 of Arms Act was registered. On further enquiry and checking mobile phone was found to be stolen in case e-FIR No. 000284/20 dated 15/06/2020 u/s 379/411 IPC, PS Lajpat Nagar and sim card was found to be stolen in case e-FIR No. 000311/20 dated 17/06/2020 u/s 379/411 IPC, PS H.N.Din.

        During interrogation, accused Mohd. Khush Ahmad @ Chand disclosed that he is drug addict and has no job. To fulfill his need of smack, he commits burglary, snatching & theft with his two associates Fakru and Sawan. Thereafter, PC remand of accused Khush Ahmad was taken and on 19/06/2020, staff apprehended his two associates who were identified as Fakhru @ Arif S/o Mohd. Anwar R/o Nizam Nagar, Basti Nizamuddin Delhi, Age-34 years and Sawan S/o Shariff R/o Vagabond, Footpath under Lodhi Colony Flyover Delhi, Age-22 years from Amir Khusro Park on the his instance.  On their cursory search, one country made pistol along with live cartridge was recovered from the possession of accused Farukh and one buttondar knife was recovered from the possession of accused Sawan. Accordingly, case FIR No. 140/20 dated 19/06/2020 u/s 25 of Arms Act was registered against accused Farukh and case FIR No. 141/20 u/s 25 of Arms Act was registered against the accused Sawan.

       On interrogation, both accused disclosed that on 06/06/2020, they had committed a burglary in the area of Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin. On their instance, case property i.e. 03 mobile phones, jewellary, lock cutter, plas, one iron rod and two wrist watch were recovered from the house of accused Farukh. Some jewellay, one mobile and one screw driver were recovered from Amir Khusro park on the instance of accused Sawan. The same were hidden by acxcused Sawan after burglary.

One iron rod, used to break loacks and doors

One pliers.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS :

Accused Mohd. Khush Ahmad @ Chand S/o Mohd. Mujimal Rahman R/o Vagabond Basti H N Din Delhi, Age- 23 years is illiterate and drug addict. He is previously involved in 14 criminal cases of Robbery, theft and burglary.

Fakhru @ Arif S/o Mohd. Anwar R/o Nizam Nagar, Basti Nizamuddin Delhi, Age- 34 years has studied up to 5th class. He is drug addict. He is previously involved in 05 criminal cases of burglary, Excise Act and NDPS Act.

Sawan S/o Shariff R/o Vagabond, Footpath under Lodhi Colony Flyover Delhi, Age- 22 years is illiterate and drug addict. He is previously involved in 01 criminal case of theft.
